Great system for a great price. Audio very good, not as good as you would get for a much more expensive system but that is self explanatory. Receiver is very small, transmitter is a little big but I like the locking 4 pin microphone. Microphone is very small which is also good. My favorite part is that I am able to see the battery level of both the transmitter and receiver on the same screen. Only wish would for it to be a metal construction but for the price of it, it is worth it.

I just used this on a shoot that had a lot dynamic background noise. Audio was crystal clear. More to the point is that there was never any static. I went from a freeway 700 system to this and it is night and day. Often times with the 700 system certain cell phones would give you the 3g static. None with this. Of course there are system that will go farther and be clearer at distances but the majority of the time I am within 25 feet of my subject and in the same room. So that point is mute. Battery life is excellent. I was concerned about the built in battery of the receiver. That was not an issue during the 6 hours of filming. It rated for 12 hours so you could always top it off at lunch or other breaks. I will definitely be a second unit. It will be easy to attach both to the cheese plate of my Red Scarlet. It does run hot so depending on your camera I would run tests at the 0,-10, and -20 db setting. I was blowing out at 0 and just fine at -10. For loud talkers I would have plenty of room at -20 and adjust volume in camera. The build quality is really nice and light but still solid.

I have used this microphone for several weeks now and I’m so glad I took the chance and purchased it. I was a TV reporter for several years and every station I worked we used Sennheiser, which is a fantastic brand, but as a new business owner I needed something a little more affordable. This Audio-Technica system matches the quality of the Sennheiser for those of us shooting on DSLRs. I love it!!! Can’t recommend it enough.

A wonderful solution for a wireless mic

Wanted to use my AT-825 mic, and make it wireless. What a great solution the System 10 is. We do well almost 200 shows a year, and use a PA for most of them. With the System 10, we can set up quickly, setup anywhere and with portable powered speakers need no extra wires or power. The system 10 – GREAT.
