Audio-Technica PRO 42Â Overview
Featuring built-in electronics which eliminate the need for external power supplies, the PRO 42 from Audio-Technica is a miniature condenser boundary microphone operating in a cardioid polar pattern. It’s capable of picking up frequencies between 70 Hz and 14 kHz. This frequency range, coupled with the microphone’s dynamic range of 134 dB and low-profile design, render the PRO 42 suitable for capturing audio in conference rooms, boardrooms, lecterns, podiums, and other install-sound situations.
- Wide-range condenser element with a relatively low-mass diaphragm
- Uniform polar pattern for a more unidirectional, forward-facing pickup of sound-sources
- Durable casing
- Low-profile design for minimum visibility, maximum camouflage
- Built-In XLR cable
