Do you need a complete system to record crystal-clear audio in a courtroom or deposition? Would you like to have the option to listen to the same amplified audio with room noise filtered out? Now, you can have BOTH! Our systems give you the following:
- Pickup audio in up to 8 different locations (you can build a 2, 4, 6 or 8 channel system)
- Select wired or wireless microphones (your choice, mix and match)
- Listed to live, amplified, noise-filtered audio into headphones or earbuds
- Record amplified, noise-filtered audio into your CAT program, digital recorder, Steno writer or all of the above
Here’s how it works:
- Step 1: Select the mixer/interface you want based on how many microphones you want to use and whether you want to record a single channel or multiple channels of audio
- If you are using a CAT program that records one audio channel, select a mixer with “single channel output mixer”. If you are using a CAT program that records multiple channels (multi-track) audio, select a “multi-channel interface/mixer”
- Step 2: For wireless microphones, select the connecting cable based on the mixer/interface you selected in Step 1. For wired microphones, skip to Step 3
- Step 3: Select the XLR adapter if you are using a multichannel mixer/interface with XLR mic inputs and you are using wired mics. If you are using a single channel output mixer, this adapter is not neededÂ
- Step 4: If using wired mics, select the type and quantity desired
- Step 5: If using wireless mics, select the type and quantity desired. For wireless mics, add the booster microphones (one per transmitter)
- Step 6: Select any optional items, like battery boosters, charger, tripod stands, backup recorder cable and carrying case
