Quick comparison between the Boya system and Rode Wireless GO II system:
The Boya and Rode system share many of the same features. In addition to all of the features of the Rode Wireless GO II system, the Boya system offers the following:
- Longer battery life (10 hours specified by manufacturer). We have also tested this in our lab using the most power thirsty parameters, with the transmitter gain and receiver output at maximum and the battery actually lasted just under 10.5 hours. This is class-leading performance and a big advantage for anyone that needs extra long battery life. This is in addition to the charge available from the charging case!
- Advanced, intelligent noise filtering available to get rid of unwanted background room noise
- Pristine sound quality – the best we have heard to date from a small wireless system
- Lapel mics are included with this system – no extra charge
- Drop in charging case is included. The charging case for the Rode is an optional accessory. All units charge in the case. Note that you can also charge (and power) each unit with a cable if desired.
- Small size – small and lighter to carry around
- 100% compatibility with connectors included for mobile devices, computers, mixers, cameras, etc.
- More intuitive on-screen menu – no connection to computer needed to access the advanced controls.
