Recording connection kit to join and record all participants of a ZOOM, GoToMeeting or other teleconference – compatible with all CAT programs and computers. Can be used with a single computer with ease.
This kit includes the connections you need to take part in a Teleconference and record the audio from the all participants (including yourself) into your CAT (or other) audio recording program. If you prefer to use one computer to join the teleconference, this is the easiest way to go. Note: If you want to use this system but still want to use a second computer to see people on Zoom, you can! Just join Zoom on the second computer and mute the audio on the second computer. You will extract and record the audio from Zoom on the CAT computer and see people on the Zoom computer.
Note to Mac users: If you are using one computer or two, this system will work for you. For example, if you want to use your Mac to join Zoom and your Windows computer to run your CAT program, you can with this system. You would join Zoom normally on your Mac, and see everyone on your Mac screen. Then, you will also join Zoom on your CAT computer, with this system connected. You will extract the audio on the CAT computer. You will hear everyone, everyone will hear you, and everyone (including you), will be recorded with pristine, high fidelity audio.

This bundle also includes a backup cable to make a recording into your writer or digital recorder *in addition* to the recording being made in your CR software.
The Presonus interface is compatible with standard USB or USB-C connections on the computer and includes both cables.

I use the SP Zoom kit with a laptop and writer. Yesterday, during a Zoom evidentiary hearing, the next-door neighbor’s landscaper came, mowing and edging up a storm! I wrote myself a note in my file when the landscaper’s noise started, just for later reference. At one point in the landscaper’s circuit, he was about 30 feet from my office window, and he almost drowned out the testimony. I had difficulty hearing, however, when I finished the hearing, I went back and listened to the audio. I cannot hear the mower or edger at all! Nothing.”
